Research Fellow / Postdoctoral Associate (Oct 2021)

We invite applications for multiple postdoctoral positions in computational geophysics, optical sensing and communications, data science and applied mathematics. Potential research topics include the following areas: wave simulation, inverse problem, sparse recovery, compressive sensing, uncertainty quantification.

Candidates are expected to have a good background in geophysics, applied mathematics, or optical physics. Expertise in high performance computing is desirable. The position may be offered for 1 or 2 years.

Graduate Students

We constantly look for motivated individuals who is interested in joining the Sustainability Geophysics Project for Ph.D. thesis study at Purddue University. Summer Interns

The Sustainability Geophysics Project invites a summer intern for 2 or 3 month each year. The successful applicant is expected to work on a project closely with the group's research interest. The position is open to all master and Ph.D. students. A stipend will be provided to cover local expense. The internship can take place during the summer, but there is some flexibility in the dates.
